Position Summary

The position is responsible for coordinating activities related to scientific review of research protocols and assisting with audits.

Job Responsibilities

Assists with administrative audit activities related to research protocols against a predetermined checklist as required. Supports with drafting of audit observations and corrective actions and assists with compiling the report. Assists with post audit training and follows up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Provides logistical support for scientific committee reviews including but not limited to scheduling, recording agendas and minutes and disseminating relevant communication. Conducts administrative review of submissions for scientific reviews ensuring accuracy and completion within pre-determined time frame. Drafts and disseminates determination letter, informs review decisions to researchers. Creates and maintains trackers for audit and scientific reviews under guidance. Assists with responding to basic queries on usage of online system for submissions and the process in general. Prepares, updates, and maintains documentation, reports, databases, and presentations related to the division in electronic and hard copy format. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree required

Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Science or healthcare related field with 3 - 5 years of related experience. Prior experience in research compliance or regulatory office is desirable.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Knowledge of regulations related to research compliance and best practices. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in demanding timeframes. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information. Customer-focused with good verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
