Job Title: Pakistani/Indian Cook

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Pakistani/Indian Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in preparing traditional Pakistani and Indian dishes, including curries, biryanis, tandoori items, and various types of bread. The cook will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and managing inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook authentic Pakistani and Indian dishes, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

Ensure proper use of spices and traditional cooking techniques.

Plan and manage kitchen inventory, including spices, meats, and fresh produce.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards.

Follow portion control and minimize food waste.

Assist in menu planning and suggest new dishes.

Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Pakistani/Indian cook in a restaurant, hotel, or catering service.

In-depth knowledge of traditional Pakistani and Indian cuisine.

Ability to use tandoor for naan, roti, and kebabs is a plus.

Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.

Ability to work in a team and take direction.

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays if required.

Basic knowledge of English or [local language] is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Formal culinary training in Pakistani/Indian cuisine is a plus.

Experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
