As we continue to grow and innovate, we are seeking a talented and passionate Cook/Chef to join our culinary team.
Responsibilities: Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and quality standards Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to the restaurant\'s specifications and guest preferences Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute daily menu offerings and specials Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including food storage, preparation stations, and cooking equipment Monitor food inventory levels and communicate with the Head Chef or Sous Chef to ensure adequate supplies are available Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and staff Assist with menu development, recipe testing, and food costing as needed Train and mentor junior kitchen staff members, including line cooks and kitchen assistants Participate in kitchen meetings, menu tastings, and staff training sessions Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes creativity, innovation, and teamwork
Requirements: Proven experience as a Cook/Chef in a restaurant or culinary environment Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary trends, and kitchen operations Excellent culinary skills and ability to create flavorful and visually appealing dishes Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment Attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation Excellent communication and teamwork skills Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the demands of the restaurant industry Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred but not required
