The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing cost estimations, budget control, and financial reporting for interior fit-out projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation and Budgeting:
Prepare accurate cost estimates for fit-out projects including materials, labor, and overheads.
Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project scope.
Tendering and Procurement:
Prepare tender documentation and manage the tendering process.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids and make recommendations for award.
Contract Administration:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Monitor contract performance and manage variations and claims.
Cost Control and Financial Reporting:
Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports and forecasts.
Track and manage changes to the project scope, ensuring cost adjustments are reflected accurately.
Site Management and Coordination:
Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure adherence to project specifications and budgets.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve any cost-related issues.
Risk Management:
Identify and manage risks related to cost and financial performance.
Implement strategies to mitigate financial risks and avoid cost overruns.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
Maintain effective communication with clients, ensuring that their requirements are met and expectations are managed.
Provide expert advice and support to clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Desired Skill & ExpertiseQualifications:
Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Professional accreditation (e.g., MRICS, RICS) is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying with a focus on fit-out projects.
Proven experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and contract management.
Strong knowledge of Dubais construction and fit-out industry standards and regulations.
Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
