Job Title: Contracts Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Contracts Manager to join the team of one of our prestigious client who is a leading construction main contracting company in the UAE, known for delivering exceptional civil engineering projects across various sectors.

This role requires to oversee the contracts for multiple projects, ensuring efficient contract management and compliance with legal, commercial, and regulatory standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all contract-related activities for civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to legal, commercial, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare, negotiate, and administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring all terms and conditions align with project objectives and organizational goals.
• Review and evaluate contractual documents, including scope of work, timelines, payment schedules, and risk management strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, codes, and regulations relevant to construction contracts in the UAE.
• Monitor and manage the project's contractual obligations, including change orders, claims, variations, and dispute resolution.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all contract-related issues, addressing and resolving any discrepancies or disputes that may arise.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure that all contracts are executed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on contract performance, risks, and financial status.
• Lead and mentor the contracts team, providing guidance on contract interpretation, negotiation, and management.
• Conduct risk analysis and provide advice on contract risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure that contract amendments, variations, and extensions are properly documented and communicated to all relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of UAE experience in contract management within the construction industry, with a strong background in managing contracts for civil engineering projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, including FIDIC and other industry-standard contract forms.
• Strong understanding of UAE construction laws, regulations, and industry practices.
• Proven experience in managing and negotiating contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities, with experience managing a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED20,000.00 - AED22,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Fujairah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
