Primary Objectives / Responsibilities Interface with OKQU location commercial, technical and project management teams to ensure that projects are successfully executed and delivered according to contract terms and conditions. Preparing and vetting Claims and Engaging in Dispute Resolutions. Protect the company from contractual risk, by working in a process of continuous improvement that encourages and promotes the introduction / implementation of best practice contracting methodologies and practices. Advise on all legal, commercial and contractual issues to members of project/s. Identify potential threats and create plans to prevent and mitigate problems. Communicate effectively and present plans Ethically and respectfully builds and maintains effective working / professional relationships. Support risk assessments and financial analysis Ensure that company secures its reputation and profitability by controlling contractual risk. Specific Accountabilities Contracts Liaise with operations, engineering, projects and other relevant functions to ensure appropriate commercial and contractual resources are provided Prepare and maintain Continuation of Services requests as per Delegation of Authority Prepare Prime Contracts Briefs and Contract Briefs sessions for the OKQU location Responsible for all pre- and post-contract award activities including, but not limited to: Assistance in all aspects of the Contracting process including but not limited to pre-qual, tender, document preparation, award, variation and post contract administration Timely processing of Contractor correspondence Advising and working with Project Managers and Engineers Handling all Commercial, Contractual and Legal issues Managing and registering Contract Correspondence Arranging close-out of contracts, including settlement of claims, if required Contribute to and review the scope of work and contracts conditions Manage tendering, evaluation and award of contracts Manage and administer the contractual aspects of major contracts Assess, review and advise Senior Managers and Project Engineers in contractor claim for variations and extensions Participate in contractual and/or commercial audits as required Risk Support assessments to define and analyze possible risks Conduct regular refresher trainings on Delegation of Authority matrix and Continuation of Services process Support initial Risk Workshops and monthly risk review meetings Evaluate the gravity of each risk by considering its consequences Support the PM in developing risk management controls and systems Support the design processes to eliminate or mitigate potential risks Support PM to creating contingency plans to manage crises Evaluate existing policies and procedures to find weaknesses Prepare reports and present recommendations Help implement solutions and plans

Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Full-Time Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited university Industry Specific Experience: Must have vast experience in contracts management, Risk related matters within Oil & gas projects and contract development and administration associated with significant multi-disciplines. IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office suite, SPM, CAMS, IOP and relevant discipline software Other: Good English communication skills (spoken & written) Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to convey information and ideas to individuals and groups, and make presentations when required. Demonstrates initiative and a willingness to learn and continuously improve on performance. Able to work on multiple projects of various size and complexity. Able to work effectively in small to large multi-disciplinary teams and share and transfer knowledge within teams.
