Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in business administration or equivalent, preferably with a Master\'s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
Work Location: Abu Dhabi
  • Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar functional areaDuties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the tendering and bidding processes, ensuring all activities comply with the standards and requirements of reference entities, in coordination with the Legal Affairs Department.
Top of FormBottom of FormSupervise analytical studies of the financial status of projects to compare financial allocations with the bids submitted by contractors and consultants.
  • Implement contracts and agreements, oversee contract closures, ensure all related procedures are completed, and supervise the enforcement of contractual conditions and provisions. Provide recommendations to project managers and procurement officials, and manage all contracting procedures with contractors and consultants based on bid analysis results and decisions of relevant committees.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual conditions and provide recommendations to the Contracts Management Department. Prepare contract amendments after validating their validity and obtaining necessary signatures.
  • Ensure contracts include penalty clauses, time frames, and approved legislative and legal requirements, as well as all other necessary requirements. Review contracts and agreements related to investment projects in coordination with Legal Affairs to ensure all needs and requirements are covered. Review the reasons and justifications for change orders, supervise the preparation of contract amendments after validating their validity and obtaining signatures, and report all change orders to the department head, including recommendations. Oversee technical/commercial clarifications and modifications to contract terms in case of change orders.
  • Ensure and supervise the adjustment of bank guarantees, retention amounts such as insurance guarantees, and request updates as needed.
  • Adhere to sustainability, environmental, health, safety policies, procedures, rules, and objectives of the within the scope of responsibilities, and ensure work is performed in a safe manner that does not harm the environment Perform any other tasks as directed by the Contracts Department Head
