Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Engineer to join our construction team in UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract management within the construction industry and possess excellent negotiation and analytical skills. The Contracts Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with contractual agreements and optimizing project outcomes.Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer all aspects of contract management, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
- Analyze contract performance and identify areas for improvement or risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with project managers, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to resolve contractual issues and disputes.
- Monitor and track project deliverables, milestones, and payments to ensure alignment with contractual obligations.
- Conduct regular contract reviews and audits to identify potential areas for cost savings and process improvements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation and records.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on contractual matters, including change orders, claims, and variations.Salary:
AED 16,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a Contracts Engineer in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of construction contracts and project management.
- In-depth knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and best practices in contract administration.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Contract Administrator (CCCA) or Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM) would be a plus.
