Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation, review, and negotiation of complex contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to engineering and technical projects.
• Review and analyze subcontractor proposals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Draft and finalize sub-contract agreements while ensuring alignment with main contracts.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to agreed terms and conditions.
• Provide support in tender preparation, evaluation, and contract administration.
• Collaborate with legal, procurement, and project management teams for seamless operations.
• Meet the New Clients & Current Clients to know about the future contract amendments.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of contract law, negotiation strategies, and risk management principles to protect the company's interests
• Collaborate closely with project managers, procurement teams, and legal counsel to develop comprehensive contract terms and conditions
• Analyze contract requirements, technical specifications, and commercial considerations to identify potential areas of risk or concern
• Lead contract negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, advocating for favorable terms while maintaining positive relationships
• Monitor contract performance and ensure all parties fulfill their contractual obligations
• Manage contract amendments, extensions, and renewals in a timely and efficient manner
• Develop and implement processes to streamline contract management and improve efficiency
• Maintain detailed records of all contracts, amendments, and related correspondence
• Prepare comprehensive reports on contract status, performance, and compliance for senior management
• Serve as the subject matter expert on contract-related issues, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams
• Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with a focus on Contract Management or Procurement
• 5+ years of experience in a technical contract management or tendering role, preferably in the engineering or construction industry
• Demonstrated expertise in contract law, negotiation tactics, and risk mitigation strategies
• Strong technical background and understanding of engineering projects, specifications, and industry standards
