Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies: Design and execute strategic procurement plans that align with business goals, prioritizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and timeliness.
• Supplier Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure quality standards, favorable terms, and reliable delivery schedules.
• Oversee Purchasing Operations: Lead a team in managing procurement processes end-to-end, including order placement, contract negotiation, and delivery coordination, utilizing Odoo ERP for streamlined operations.
• Budget and Cost Control: Collaborate with the finance team to manage budgets, control procurement costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining quality.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify and address procurement-related risks to ensure continuity and quality.
• Ensure Compliance: Maintain procurement practices that adhere to legal, regulatory, and company standards, including sustainability and ethical sourcing.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, supplier innovations, and new products to enhance procurement strategies.
Qualifications:
• Nationality Requirement: Emarati (UAE National).
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Higher, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree or procurement certifications (e.g., CPM, CPSM) preferred.
• Experience: 5-10 years in procurement, with experience managing supplier relationships and contract negotiations both locally and internationally, along with hands-on experience with Odoo ERP software.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Odoo ERP and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Commitment to Excellence: A proactive, goal-driven attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
• Additional Qualifications: Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices is an advantage.
