An ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in a content creation or social media role, solid experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro), familiarity with other photo and video editing tools; and a bachelor's degree in photography, videography, digital media, or a related field.Responsibilities:Content Creation
Capture high-quality photos and videos across the hotel's various settings, including guest rooms, suites, dining venues, and spa. Ensure that all visuals reflect the luxury feel of the property, creating an inviting portrayal of the hotel experience.
Capture the culinary artistry and atmosphere of the resort's restaurants and bars.
Produce short videos tailored for social media, utilizing dynamic transitions and creative angles to capture attention. Highlight guest experiences, signature offerings, and unique hotel features in a way that is quick, engaging, and visually captivating.
Support live coverage of events and exclusive experiences, sharing curated highlights that generate excitement and capture the energy of the occasion.
Edit photos and videos using industry-standard tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro to ensure consistency with brand aesthetics.
Enhance images and videos with colour correction, retouching, and graphic elements as needed to deliver polished, visually cohesive content.
Assist in the management of the hotel's photo shoots and social media accounts by curating a content calendar that aligns with the brand's voice, aesthetic, and marketing objectives.
Collaborate with key hotel departments to stay informed on noteworthy events and offerings to effectively promote these on social media.
Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure visual content supports overall marketing strategies and goals.
Assist with content needs for special campaigns, photoshoots, and events.
Stay informed about current content trends, platform updates, and best practices to continuously evolve the content approach.
Adhere to Mandarin Oriental's brand guidelines across all visual content to maintain a consistent and sophisticated brand image.
Regularly review content performance and recommend creative adjustments to maximize engagement and reach.
Maintain a well-organized digital archive of photo and video assets.
