Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Content Creator to join our team and work on one of the most exciting retail clients - a leading mall in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging content that enhances the mall's online presence, drives footfall, and promotes mall events, offers, and activities. This role requires a creative thinker with a strong understanding of social media trends, who can produce content in various formats (photo, video, written) and adapt quickly to the fast-paced nature of the retail and entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, create, and edit high-quality content (photo, video, graphics, and written) for the mall's social media platforms, website, and email marketing.
• Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) to capture mall activities, events, offers, and promotions.
• Work closely with the Social Media Manager and Account Manager to align content with the mall's branding and campaign objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest digital trends, social media platform updates, and retail marketing strategies to keep the content fresh and relevant.
• Create live content (e.g., Instagram stories, behind-the-scenes footage) during mall events and promotions to engage and connect with the audience in real time.
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to brainstorm new content ideas and strategies that drive audience engagement and mall footfall.
• Assist with copywriting for social media captions, blog posts, newsletters, and website content.
• Monitor analytics to measure content performance and make data-driven adjustments to improve results.
• Maintain and organize a content calendar, ensuring that deadlines are met for all content deliverables.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in content creation, preferably in a retail or event-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook) and experience in producing content specifically tailored to each.
• Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro), Canva, and mobile video editing apps.
• Excellent photography and videography skills, with an eye for capturing dynamic retail environments and experiences.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to craft engaging and on-brand copy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• A creative, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to think outside the box and contribute fresh ideas to the team.
• Arabic language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
