In this role, as a member of Financial Planning and Analysis team, you will work with others to assess business and economic trends, evaluate historical performance, and try to predict potential challenges and opportunities. All with an eye toward forecasting the firm\'s future financial results. And making this insight available to the firm\'s Executive Leadership Team.Job Responsibilities:
  • Understand financial performance, driving and tracking actions to deliver our strategic priorities and key targets. Linking external data with internal financial performance.
  • Create a clear and coherent story of performance and actions for use within the firm and at business level. With deep dive analysis into performance issues.
  • Provide the leadership team with timely, insightful commentaries that tell the story behind the numbers
  • Presenting data-visualization that makes an impact and stimulates the Firm\'s decision makers
  • Participate in cross team projects, providing ad hoc financial modelling and analysis as required
  • Collaborate with portfolio, offering and industry teams on all joint deliverables and consolidation of business unit results
  • Support in preparation of monthly financial reporting, conduct supporting analysis and present financial results to internal clients and leadership teams
  • Provide support in portfolio reviews, work-in-progress (WIP) management, billing, budget rates, net investment analysis, and review of profit and loss (P&L) records
Job Requirements:
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, management accounting, forecasting, budgeting and analysis across the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows
  • Thrive in a fast paced, matrixed environment with competing priorities, stringent deadlines, and evolving business requirements
  • Ability to work and manage tasks both independently and with a larger team to achieve goals Work you\'ll do
  • Effectively present ideas in a logical and articulate manner that can influence leadership teams and drive meaningful solutions
  • Experience working with financial systems and ability to leverage technology to achieve greater working efficiencies
  • Drive quality and accountability of results from initial input collection to final outcomes
  • Build strong relationships, establish trust, identify needs and motivate teams to drive operational and strategic priorities
  • Strong interpersonal/teaming skills and the ability to work effectively with and influence senior executives and business leaders
  • Superior PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Dynamics skills
  • Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
  • Bachelor\'s degree in finance and accounting
  • 3+ years of experience in a financial planning, reporting and analysis, with advanced skills in strategic thinking, leadership, complex problem solving
  • Experience of working in a professional services organization is preferred but not essential.
