Urologist duties and responsibilities
\xe2\x97\x8f Documenting and reviewing patients\' histories.
\xe2\x97\x8f Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
\xe2\x97\x8f Using specialized equipment, such as X rays, fluoroscopes, and catheters.
\xe2\x97\x8f Performing abdominal, pelvic, or retroperitoneal surgeries when necessary.
\xe2\x97\x8f Prescribing and administering antibiotics, antiseptics, or compresses to treat infections or injuries.
\xe2\x97\x8f Providing Urology consultations or referring patients to specialists.
\xe2\x97\x8f Directing nurses, residents, or other staff.
Requirements
Requirements:
\xe2\x97\x8f A Medical degree and the successful completion of a residency and fellowship in urology.
\xe2\x97\x8f A state license and certification to practice urology.
\xe2\x97\x8f The ability to keep updated on the latest medical technologies.
\xe2\x97\x8f The flexibility to work irregular hours and remain on emergency call.
\xe2\x97\x8f Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
\xe2\x97\x8f Good communication and interpersonal skills.
\xe2\x97\x8f Good team working, leadership, and organizational skills.
