Conduct comprehensive assessments, including physical examinations, laboratory tests, and imaging to formulate accurate diagnoses.
Develop individualized treatment plans, including pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions, to manage symptoms and slow disease progression.
Manage biologic therapies and DMARDs (Disease-Modifying Antirheumatic Drugs) in the treatment of autoimmune diseases.
Provide joint injections, aspiration, and other musculoskeletal interventions as required.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physical therapists, orthopedists, and primary care physicians, to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and their families on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and preventive strategies to reduce flares.
Monitor long-term outcomes and adjust treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal patient care.
Stay updated with the latest research, treatments, and advancements in rheumatology.
Participate in research, clinical trials, or academic activities, as applicable.
Ensure accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff and fellows in the rheumatology department.

Qualifications:
MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
Postgraduate qualification in Rheumatology (MD, DNB, or equivalent).
Valid medical license to practice as a Rheumatologist.
Proficiency in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of rheumatologic disorders.
Strong understanding of the latest treatments and therapies in rheumatology.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
