Consultant /specialist Radiology (pl)

Job Description

:
  • Interpret and analyze a wide variety of medical images (X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, etc.) to diagnose and monitor diseases and conditions.
  • Provide consultations and communicate results to referring physicians to assist in developing treatment plans.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists, to ensure coordinated and accurate care.
  • Perform interventional radiology procedures (if applicable), such as biopsies, catheter placements, and image-guided treatments.
  • Review patient medical histories and clinical information to provide accurate diagnostic imaging recommendations.
  • Ensure that imaging procedures follow safety protocols and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Advise on the use of advanced imaging technologies and assist with the implementation of new techniques.
  • Supervise and mentor junior radiologists and radiology technicians.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in radiology and medical imaging technology.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in academic or clinical research related to radiology (if applicable).

Qualifications:
  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD, DNB, or equivalent).
  • Valid medical license to practice as a Radiologist.
  • Proficiency in interpreting a wide range of medical imaging, including CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, and interventional procedures.
  • Strong communication skills to discuss findings with other healthcare providers and patients.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
