:Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our pediatric team. This role will involve diagnosing, treating, and managing gastrointestinal conditions in children, from infancy through adolescence. Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient care for pediatric patients with gastrointestinal (GI) disorders, including conditions like reflux, celiac disease, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), food allergies, liver disease, and chronic constipation.
Conduct thorough physical examinations, take detailed medical histories, and order diagnostic tests such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, liver biopsy, and laboratory workups.
Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient, considering their medical history, family background, and developmental stage.
Perform endoscopic procedures and other diagnostic/therapeutic interventions as needed.
Educate families and caregivers about managing chronic GI conditions, medication regimens, lifestyle modifications, and nutritional counseling.
Collaboration and Teamwork:
Collaborate with pediatricians, dietitians, nutritionists, pediatric surgeons, and other specialists to coordinate care for patients with complex gastrointestinal issues.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review complex cases, treatment strategies, and patient progress.
Provide consultations to other medical professionals, including general pediatricians, about pediatric gastroenterology concerns.
Research and Education:
Stay current with the latest advancements in pediatric gastroenterology, including emerging research and new treatment modalities.
Engage in or contribute to research efforts in pediatric gastroenterology, including clinical trials and studies aimed at improving patient outcomes.
Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in the pediatric gastroenterology specialty.
Provide education and training to other healthcare providers on pediatric GI issues and best practices.
Administrative and Clinical Documentation:
Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of patient interactions, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including the development and implementation of clinical protocols and patient care guidelines.

Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
Completion of an accredited pediatric residency program.
Fellowship training in Pediatric Gastroenterology for 3 years.
Licenses and Certifications:
Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
Valid and unrestricted medical license in the state of [State].
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Pediatric Gastroenterology (preferred).
Experience with pediatric endoscopic procedures and management of pediatric GI conditions.
Research experience in pediatric gastroenterology is a plus.
