: Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Pediatric ENT Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating ear, nose, and throat (ENT) conditions in children. You will provide specialized care for pediatric patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of care.Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for pediatric ENT patients, including the diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, and related structures.
Evaluate and treat a range of pediatric ENT disorders such as ear infections, hearing loss, tonsillitis, sinusitis, sleep apnea, and congenital anomalies.
Perform pediatric ENT surgeries, including procedures like tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, and tympanostomy tube placements.
Conduct in-depth assessments and develop individualized care plans for children with ENT issues.
Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, audiologists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for pediatric patients.
Monitor and track the progress of treatments, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Offer counseling and advice to families on preventive measures, lifestyle modifications, and the management of chronic ENT conditions.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in pediatric ENT care, research, and treatment methodologies.
Provide education and training to junior medical staff, residents, and healthcare professionals in pediatric ENT practices.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with medical protocols and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications: Requirements:
Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Board certification or specialization in Otolaryngology (ENT), with additional training or certification in Pediatric ENT.
Proven experience (5+ years) in diagnosing and treating pediatric ENT conditions.
Expertise in performing ENT surgeries for children.
Strong understanding of pediatric anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
