Role - Consultant Technology - Storage Administration Location - UAE- Abu Dhabi

Your role As a Storage Administrator in Abu Dhabi, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of storage infrastructure, ensuring the availability, performance, and security of data storage systems. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required - Design, implement, and manage storage solutions to meet the organization's data storage requirements. - Monitor and optimize storage performance, capacity, and availability. - Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for critical data. - Conduct regular testing of backup systems to ensure data integrity and availability. - Implement and enforce security measures to safeguard stored data. - Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations. - Diagnose and resolve storage-related issues in a timely manner. - Provide technical support to end-users and collaborate with other IT teams for issue resolution. - Manage storage virtualization technologies and solutions. - Implement and maintain virtualized storage environments. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of storage configurations and procedures. - Generate regular reports on storage performance, capacity, and utilization. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate storage solutions with other IT infrastructure components. - Work closely with system administrators, network engineers, and other IT professionals.

Personal - Proven experience as a Storage Administrator or similar role. - In-depth knowledge of storage technologies, SAN/NAS systems, and storage virtualization. - Familiarity with backup and recovery processes. - Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.

Certifications: Relevant certifications in storage technologies (e.g., EMC, NetApp, or equivalent).

Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in storage administration.
