The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge and experience in managing various types of rheumatic conditions in children, as well as a strong commitment to delivering compassionate and comprehensive patient care.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of pediatric patients with suspected rheumatic conditions.- Interpret diagnostic tests, including blood work, imaging studies, and biopsies, to determine the presence and severity of rheumatic diseases.- Develop personalized treatment plans for each patient, depending on their specific condition, medical history, and individual needs.- Prescribe and administer medications to manage symptoms, prevent disease progression, and improve overall well-being.- Perform invasive procedures, such as joint aspirations and injections, to relieve pain and inflammation.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including pediatricians, radiologists, and physiotherapists, to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.- Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and disease management techniques.- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve the best possible results.- Keep accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of all patient encounters.- Participate in research activities, including clinical trials and studies, to advance the understanding and treatment of pediatric rheumatic diseases.- Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and professional working environment for all staff and patients.- Adhere to all ethical, legal, and regulatory standards of medical practice.Requirements:- Medical degree from an accredited institution.- Board certification in Pediatric Rheumatology.- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist.- Proven track record of success in managing pediatric rheumatic conditions in a clinical setting.- Expertise in conducting thorough physical examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing individualized treatment plans.- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with pediatric patients and their families.- Proactive, patient-centered approach to care.- Capacity to handle a high-volume workload and work well under pressure.- Proficient computer skills and experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.- Must be Western-trained.At Allocation Assist Middle East we value diversity and are an equal opportunity employer.
