Utilizing your knowledge and experience, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with rheumatic diseases, including but not limited to juvenile arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and other connective tissue disorders.Duties and responsibilities will include:- Conducting thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations, reviewing medical history, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans for patients with rheumatic diseases, considering their age, medical history, and symptoms.- Prescribing and administering appropriate medication and evaluating their effectiveness.- Providing support and education to patients and their families, empowering them to manage their conditions effectively.- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and therapists, to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex conditions.- Participating in medical research and contributing to the development of new treatments and best practices in the field of pediatric rheumatology.- Providing guidance and supervision to junior medical staff and participating in training and educational activities.Qualified candidates must have:- A medical degree from an accredited institution and a relevant specialty certification (such as ABP or RCPCH).- At least 5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric Rheumatologist in a reputable healthcare facility.- Extensive knowledge of pediatric rheumatic diseases and their diagnosis, treatment, and management.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with patients, families and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.- A positive and collaborative attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.In return, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including accommodation, healthcare, and flight allowance.
