The role will involve conducting thorough examinations, ordering and evaluating diagnostic tests, and creating individualized treatment plans for each patient. The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator who can build strong relationships with patients and their families, while also collaborating effectively with other members of the medical team.Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert care and treatment to pediatric patients with various hematologic conditions, including anemia, leukemia, bleeding disorders, and other blood-related disorders.- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, review medical histories, and order and interpret diagnostic tests to determine the correct diagnosis.- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for each patient, using the latest medical techniques and technologies.- Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, and potential side effects of medication.- Collaborate with other specialists and members of the medical team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.- Participate in continuing education and training programs to maintain and enhance clinical knowledge and skills.- Contribute to research and quality improvement activities in the pediatric hematology department.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.Requirements:- Medical degree from a recognized institution.- Board certification in Pediatric Hematology.- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric Hematologist in a reputable hospital.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and critical thinking skills.- Up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in pediatric hematology.- Must be Western-trainedJoin us in Abu Dhabi and make a difference in the lives of our pediatric patients.
