:Wizejob is seeking a skilled Consultant Ophthalmologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent eye care, diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, and performing surgical procedures. Your expertise will help patients achieve and maintain optimal vision and eye health.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and assessments.
- Diagnose eye conditions and diseases based on patient history and diagnostic tests.
- Prescribe medications and corrective lenses as needed.
- Perform surgeries, including cataract extractions and laser procedures.
- Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals in patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about eye health and treatment options.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in ophthalmology.
- Medical degree with specialization in ophthalmology.
- Postgraduate training or fellowship in a related area is preferred.
- Valid medical license to practice ophthalmology.
- Proficient in performing ocular surgeries and advanced diagnostic techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
