As a leading consulting firm, our mission is to provide top-notch services to our clients in the Middle East, and we are dedicated to achieving excellence in all aspects of our work.Role and Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive consultations and examinations to diagnose and treat eye diseases and disorders- Use advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques to identify and monitor conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, taking into consideration their medical history, lifestyle, and individual needs- Perform surgical procedures such as cataract extraction, laser surgery, and placement of intraocular lenses- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including optometrists, to provide the best possible care for patients- Keep accurate and detailed patient records, including diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress notes- Stay updated on the latest developments and advancements in ophthalmology through continuous education and professional development- Act as a resource for other healthcare providers and staff on ophthalmology-related matters- Contribute to research and publication in the field of ophthalmologyQualifications and Requirements:- Medical degree in Ophthalmology from an accredited institution- Board certification in Ophthalmology with corneal fellowship- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Consultant Ophthalmologist in a reputable institution- Strong knowledge of ophthalmic diseases, conditions, and procedures- Excellent diagnostic skills and ability to develop effective treatment plans- Proficient in using ophthalmic diagnostic equipment and performing surgical procedures- Professional demeanor and excellent bedside manner- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work in a diverse and multicultural environment- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development- Must be western-trainedIf you are a skilled and passionate ophthalmologist seeking a challenging and rewarding opportunity in the Middle East, we encourage you to apply for this position.
