Job Description
:Wizejob a highly skilled Consultant Gastroenterologist to join a leading multi-speciality hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various diseases related to the digestive system. You will leverage advanced diagnostic tools, including endoscopes and biopsies, to identify the underlying causes of patients\' symptoms.Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with patients and conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose gastrointestinal disorders.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies as necessary.
- Develop treatment plans based on diagnoses and patient needs.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and recommend lifestyle changes for effective management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
- Completion of a residency and fellowship in Gastroenterology.
- Proficiency in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to gastroenterology.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate bedside manner and a patient-centered approach to care.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training.
- Able to work flexible hours as needed.
