As a Consultant Family Medicine, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and personalized medical care to patients of all ages. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including but not limited to, infections, injuries, diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease.
Perform routine physical exams, including well-child checkups, annual physicals, and pre-employment exams.
Develop and implement treatment plans and provide patient education on disease management and prevention.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, imaging, and EKGs.
Prescribe and manage medications, making appropriate adjustments based on patient response and medical history.
Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure optimal outcomes for patients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records.
Requirements:
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Board certification in Family Medicine
Valid state medical license
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Family Medicine
Excellent clinical skills and ability to provide compassionate and evidence-based care
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Proficiency in electronic medical records and technology
Knowledge of current trends and practices in Family Medicine
