We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Construction Superintendent - Specialist (Instrument and Control) with 18 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in gas processing projects, a strong background in Instrument and Control, and a proven track record in a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) role.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all Instrument and Control construction activities on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with the project's specifications and schedules.
Lead and supervise a team of engineers and technicians in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Instrument and Control systems.
Coordinate with the project management team to ensure timely and efficient execution of construction activities, including reviewing and approving subcontractor work.
Ensure compliance with standards and other relevant regulations throughout the construction process.
Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.
Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team on complex Instrument and Control-related issues.
Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and other construction documentation.
Liaise with the client and other stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and resolve any project-related issues.
Ensure all project milestones are met and assist in tracking project performance.
Provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 18 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with significant experience in gas processing projects.
Proven experience in a PMC role, managing projects from design through to execution and completion.
In-depth knowledge of Instrument and Control systems, their installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of ADNOCs project standards, guidelines, and safety procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
ADNOC project experience is mandatory.
