Context
The Construction Site Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations at construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various teams, managing resources, and maintaining compliance with regulations and company policies.
Main Accountabilities
Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities
Implement and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, workers, and other site personnel
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety
Manage site logistics, including material deliveries, equipment usage, and waste management
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to address issues and provide updates
Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily logs, incident reports, and progress reports
Manage site budgets and control costs
Identify and resolve any on-site problems or conflicts
Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
Participate in project meetings and contribute to strategic planning
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
10 years of experience in construction, sites / project management or similar role
Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and health and safety standards
Proficiency in construction management software and Google suite
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
Strong organizational and time management skills
Valid driver's license (manual gearbox)

Physical Requirement
Ability to be on feet for extended periods and navigate construction sites
Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds
Comfortable working in various weather conditions
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights when necessary
Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
