The Role

Position: MEP Construction Manager Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE Employer: Tier 1 Main Contractor Project: Iconic/Resort Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced MEP Construction Manager with expertise in managing the successful execution of MEP systems for large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex projects, including 1-2 data centers (preferred 5+ years in a similar role). Key Responsibilities: o Oversee and manage all MEP construction activities on-site, ensuring quality and timely delivery. o Coordinate with project stakeholders, including design, procurement, and construction teams, to align on project objectives. o Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of Buzz Bars, Chillers, and other critical MEP systems. o Ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory compliance. o Prepare progress reports and lead site meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. o Identify and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems, ensuring minimal impact on project schedules. o Optimize resource allocation, manage budgets, and mitigate risks. Qualifications and Skills: o Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline. o Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Construction Manager, preferably with data center experience. o Proven expertise in MEP systems and a strong understanding of building services, design, and operational requirements. o Strong leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders. o Familiarity with relevant project management tools and software. Requirements

Candidate Profile Education: o Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Experience: o 5+ years of proven experience as a Construction Manager in the MEP field. o Hands-on experience in 1-2 data center projects (mandatory). o Expertise in managing Buzz Bars, Chillers, and critical MEP systems. o Strong background in both construction and operational roles, including design and building services. Skills & Competencies: o Deep understanding of MEP systems, including installation, testing, and commissioning processes. o Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget. o Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams and liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors. o Proficient in using project management tools/software to track and report project progress. o In-depth knowledge of safety standards, building codes, and regulations in the UAE.
