Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage roads and utilities construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the UAE, with extensive knowledge of local regulations and standards, particularly in the fields of roads, sewage, stormwater, irrigation, and utility services. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to major infrastructure projects in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of roads and utilities construction projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and in compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate and supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget estimates, and quality standards.
• Monitor and control project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion within budget and on time.
• Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure that all construction activities adhere to the regulations set forth by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai Municipality (DM), and Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA).
• Apply knowledge of RTA road regulations, DM's sewage, stormwater, and irrigation standards, and DEWA water line regulations to ensure compliance throughout the project.
• Ensure all permits and approvals are obtained from relevant authorities prior to the commencement of work.
• Quality Control and Safety:
• Enforce quality control procedures and ensure that work is completed to the highest standards.
• Implement safety regulations and monitor safety performance across the site to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Stakeholder Communication:
• Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and local authorities.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and next steps.
• Liaise with government authorities, including DM, RTA, and DEWA, to address any concerns and ensure all regulatory requirements are met.
• Problem Solving and Decision Making:
• Proactively identify potential risks or delays and develop solutions to keep the project on schedule.
• Resolve conflicts and challenges that arise on-site in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure that changes in the scope of work are documented and communicated properly to stakeholders.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management in Dubai, with a strong background in roads and utilities projects.
• Proven experience in working with RTA roads regulations, DM sewage, storm, and irrigation regulations, and DEWA water line standards.
• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of local construction regulations, including RTA, DM, and DEWA standards.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
