Company Overview: We are a leading construction company based in Dubai, specializing in large-scale infrastructure and pipeline projects across the UAE. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Manager to join our team and ensure the successful installation and maintenance of underground pipelines as part of our high-profile projects.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Construction Manager to oversee and manage large-scale road construction projects with a specific focus on sewerage, drainage, and irrigation works. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution:

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to determine project specifications.
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines are met.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.

Team Leadership & Supervision:

• Hire contractors and allocate responsibilities effectively.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, including engineers, site supervisors, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Supervise laborers, mechanics, and other staff, providing guidance as needed.

Contract & Resource Management:

• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
• Determine and acquire needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) while adhering to budgetary limitations.
• Acquire equipment and materials, and monitor stock levels to handle inadequacies proactively.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Obtain necessary permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards, reporting issues as they arise.

Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project objectives.

Reporting & Quality Control:

• Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure all works meet project specifications and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in road construction, with at least 5 years in a Project Manager role.
• Proven expertise in sewerage, drainage, and irrigation works.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
• Familiarity with UAE regulations and local authority standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary Range: AED 7,000 - AED 12,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications).
• Annual leave as per UAE Labor Law.
• End-of-service gratuity as per UAE regulations.
