Overview of the role:


The role holder will be responsible for building up and developing an effective seqeunce and construction strategy to oversee projects within the Private Properties portfolio across UAE and in Europe. This will encompass aspects of all phases of permits, construction, project management, related to projects within the portfolio. The position is responsible to support the construction and project management process from tendering to project handover, closeout and effective delegation management of the Defects liability Period.




What you will do:


Responsiblle for:


Project Delivery Quality


To execute the project ensuring the quality of the final project has achieved the quality standards defined by the design brief resulting in receipt to achieve Taking over.




Project Delivery Progress


To execute the project to ensure that the progress of the project is achieved within the described timeframe keeping all team members informed of progress at all times.



Project Delivery Cost


To execute the project to ensure that the costs of the project are maintained within the described limits of the project viability.



Project Value Engineering


Ensure that the project team is accurately and timely informed about value added/buildability options for the project's execution.




Project Reporting


Ensure that a record of project activity is maintained for the duration of the project.



Project Construction Participants


Ensure that project participants are comprehensively evaluated as suitable for inclusion for the project's execution and actively participate in evaluations and negotiations to achieve this objective.



Tender Documentation


Ensure that all tender and Contract documentation is prepared in a coordinated manner in conjunction with the project team.



Team Management & Peers


The PM is an individual contributor or may have a small team directly reporting. He works with various internal and external parties, including contactors. He/she will be supported by peers from various departments. The individual needs to foster significant organisational partnerships to facilitate the delivery of new projects or solutions. Work with an international or group-wide network of peers, seeking to realign their priorities and resources.




Required skills to be successful:


Job-specific skills:


Civil Engineering and Building/ University Degree. Proactive approach with good communication skills developed in a multinational environment with a minimum of 5 years major project experience. Proficiency in MS Office (Word/ Excel), MS Project.

What equips you for the role:


Minimum Education:


The candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, or related field. Professional registration and experience with ground up new construction preferred.



Minimum Experience and Knowledge:

Minimum of 10 years' experience in the direct management of large, complex high end Developments with responsibility for site analysis, permitting and approvals, budget control, estimating, design, construction, and project management.
