Job Description
Construction Manager required for a UAE based Real Estate Developer for a mixed-use residential project in Abu Dhabi. Our client is an established local Real Estate firm who have been focused in the development of Hotels, Residential and Commercial Towers for a number of years in the UAE.Responsibilities:
- Report to senior executive team with on-site and progress updates.
- Working with development, design and construction team identifying and resolving constructability issues
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies.
- Reviewing Bid/Tender packages from contractors completing all due diligence tasks for quality, cost and schedule requirements.
- Review all packages with internal departments and stakeholders before awarding contract.
- Review invoices and schedule updates regularly, informing senior executives and meeting with contractor as required.
- Ensure company safety plan is provided to contractor and is strictly followed by all vendors and suppliers.
- Complete regular site walks during construction phase.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of Construction Manager experience on large-scale high-rise developments of similar size and scope.
- Completed multiple projects in and Owners Representative role as a Construction Manager.
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or similar field.
- Expert knowledge of construction management, scheduling and estimating software as required to run a successful project.
