The Jazan IGCC is the world's largest IGCC and ASU facility producing 2100 MMSCFD syngas, 18,000 MT/Day Oxygen and 4 Gigawatts of power. Facilities and assets include residue gasification, acid gas clean up (Rectisol), soot ash recovery, Sulphur recovery (Claus & Scot), combined cycle power plants, materials handling systems, hydrogen recovery, air separation, water utilities systems and wastewater treatment facilities.
The Role:
A reliable Construction Manager In this role, you will be responsible for planning construction projects and overseeing their progress from start to finish in a timely and cost-effective manner. Your key responsibilities will include budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the projects. As the Construction Manager, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. With your keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills, you will ensure that all construction activities align with the established timeline and budget. Your expertise in project management will be crucial in coordinating resources, resolving any issues that may arise, and delivering successful construction projects.
Requirements of the Role: Proven working experience in construction management Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards Understanding of all facets of the construction process Familiarity with construction management software packages Ability to plan and see the "big picture" Competent in conflict and crisis management Leadership and human resources management skills Excellent time and project management skills BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field Strong knowledge on Interfaces and Interface Issues of Projects Knowledge on Risk Registers and Mitigation of the Risks, associated to Project Construction Management. Previous Experience in working Brownfield Projects, preferably in SAUDI ARAMCO Plants. Able to interpret the Construction Drawings, Process Diagrams, PFDs. Able to sequence the Construction Activities, based on the Project Requirement and Complete the Projects without any re-works.
Work Scope to be delivered:
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Ensure resource availability and allocation Develop a detailed project plan to track progress Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques Report and escalate to management as needed Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders Perform risk management to minimize project risks Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation PART 2: Candidate Requirements Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities Work Experience: 10+ years in Oil and Gas Field, and minimum 4-5 years of work experience in EPC construction field/Brownfield Project Construction Management.
Essential Knowledge & Experience: Knowledge of construction methods and technologies and an ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts Knowledge of building-code requirements and scheduling methods Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for quality Knowledge of construction worksite safety practices Desired Knowledge & Experience: Ability to communicate in more than one language Professional certification, such as CCM (certified construction manager), AC (associate constructor), or CPC (certified professional constructor) Working knowledge of green building practices Key Skills: Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods Understanding of all facets of the construction process Familiarity with construction management software packages Ability to plan and see the "big picture" Competent in conflict and crisis management Leadership and human resources management skills Excellent time and project management skills Education & Certifications: Bachelor or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
