Job Description

The Construction Foreman is responsible for overseeing construction projects on-site, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. This role involves managing a team of workers, coordinating activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily construction activities and manage work crews to ensure tasks are completed on time and to high standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and project execution.
• Monitor and maintain safety practices on-site, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Inspect work progress and quality, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and labor hours on-site.
• Assist in scheduling tasks and assigning duties to workers based on project needs.
• Provide training and guidance to crew members to promote skill development and safety awareness.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in construction management is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Familiarity with scheduling software (e.g., MS Project).

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
