:Wood is currently recruiting PMC Construction Engineer - I&C to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAEResponsibilities:
To facilitate and formulate Construction Supervision, management, coordination, administration and strict enforcement of the Construction scope included as part of FEED/EPC Contract in line with Client's objective of progressing Work Order completion timely and to project schedule
Supervision of the FEED/EPC Contractor from construction through commissioning and handing over of FEED/EPC works
Review and provide input to the overall construction/installation plan, procedures and construction/installation requirements identified in the EPC Packages developed by FEED contractor to ensure efficient constructability
Ensure the construction/installation plan, procedures and requirement developed by EPC contractor comply with the EPC Scope of Work intent and requirements.
Assist to manage fabrication works at EPC contractor's or EPC contractor's subcontractor's fabrication facilities
Supervise, monitor and inspect the work EPC contractor and EPC contractor's subcontractors at the construction location (or place of manufacture where applicable) in accordance with ADNOC Offshore policy for supervision, quality assurance, control and inspection for the project.
Maintain EPC contractor's adherence to safety, quality and schedule requirements for construction.
Inform ADNOC Offshore of Construction slippage and recommend corrective action(s) to be performed by EPC contractor
Provide construction input to estimates as and when required
Review design documents and provide constructability input to designs
Undertake visits to facilities/sites to support the development of the construction activities, review designs and liaise with EPC Contractor or EPC Contractor's Subcontractors
Identify any Specialist Vendor Support, Tools and Equipment required to implement scope
Interface with ADNOC Offshore's Operations groups as & when necessary
Taking part in site surveys and generation of reports where required
Formulate Construction deliverables in line with Project procedures for content, and accuracy
Assist with construction input to Bid preparation
Development of Construction requirements for Bid estimates
Thorough working knowledge of and experience of construction completion procedures & Pre-commissioning activities
Involved in Effective Change Management
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Engineering
Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
