Job Title: ConciergeLocation: DUBAI Department: Front Office/Guest Services Reports To: Front Office Manager Job Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Concierge is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests by assisting them with their inquiries, making reservations, offering recommendations, and facilitating various guest services. The role requires a thorough knowledge of the hotels services and local attractions, combined with the ability to anticipate and fulfill guest needs to ensure a memorable experience. Key Responsibilities:
Guest Assistance:
Greet guests warmly and provide a high level of customer service.
Assist guests with their inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly.
Offer detailed information about the hotels facilities, services, and amenities.
Reservations and Bookings:
Make reservations for dining, transportation, entertainment, and other services as requested by guests.
Confirm and update reservations as necessary.
Local Knowledge:
Provide guests with information about local attractions, events, and activities.
Offer recommendations for dining, shopping, and entertainment based on guests\' preferences.
Maintain an updated database of local contacts, vendors, and service providers.
Coordination of Services:
Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest requests are met efficiently.
Arrange for special services such as babysitting, pet care, or medical assistance if needed.
Facilitate delivery of messages, packages, and other items to guest rooms.
Problem Resolution:
Handle guest complaints or issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate department or manager.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of guest requests and services provided.
Manage a log of local events and activities to inform and assist guests.
Prepare reports and feedback for management on guest satisfaction and service quality.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
Experience:
Previous experience in a concierge, guest services, or front office role is preferred.
Experience in the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in using hotel management software and reservation systems.
Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
Knowledge of the local area and tourism industry.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods.
May require lifting or carrying up to 25 pounds.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
