Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Computer Science Faculty Lecturer to join our dynamic team. This role involves teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in computer science, developing course materials, and contributing to academic research. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the learning experience for students and advancing the department's academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching: Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and hands-on lab sessions in a range of computer science topics such as programming, algorithms, data structures, software engineering and more.
• Course Development: Design and update course content, including syllabi, assignments, quizzes, and exams to align with current trends and industry standards.
• Student Engagement: Provide mentorship, academic advising, and office hours support to students. Offer constructive feedback on assignments and projects.
• Curriculum Development: Collaborate with faculty colleagues to review and enhance the computer science curriculum, ensuring it remains cutting-edge and industry-relevant.
• Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements and best practices in computer science. Continuously improve teaching methods.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in teaching computer science at the undergraduate or graduate level.
• Strong knowledge of core computer science concepts such as programming, algorithms, data structures, and systems design.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
