Job Description
Develop, implement and manage an effective Legal Compliance Program
Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them
Draft and revise company policies and procedures related to Compliance.
Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses and propose corrective actions.
Advise Management on the company\'s compliance with laws and regulations through detailed reports.
Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries and compliance violations.
Evaluate business activities (investments, international trade) to assess compliance risk.
Collaborate with external auditors and HR as and when needed
Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation
Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices
Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance
Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals
