Job Title: Compliance Officer Location: Abu Dhabi Experience: 3-5 years Language : Excellent in English Industry : Non-Banking Industry Job Responsibilities: Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies Define all stakeholders & functional compliance requirements, plan and ensure execution by the relevant departments / functions Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously Revise procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues Draft, modify and implement company policies Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations Assess the business's future ventures to identify possible compliance risks Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate Monitors all operational processes and procedures using a compliance management platform to ensure that the company complies with all legal regulations and ethical standards. Manages information flow by researching, recording and analysing data and information. Conduct compliance risk assessments, to ensure business runs smoothly. Trains and educates staff so that they are informed of any legal changes and updates to compliance guidelines. Acts as contact person and liaison between department heads and senior management regarding regulatory matters. Conducts regular assessments to determine whether policies are compliant with the regulations and law.
