Job Description

Requirements: -

Responsible for developing compliance activities, reviewing company policies, and advising management on possible risks.

Proactively auditing processes, practices and documents

Develop and oversee control systems to prevent or deal with all the legal guidelines and internal policies.

Identify risks or non-conformity issues, draft, modify and implement company policies.

Monitor enforcement of standards and regulations with collaborate with various department

Identify possible compliance risks with assessing the ?business future ventures

Identify compliance issues and provide advice or training.

Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.

Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.

Developing and implementing an effective legal compliance program

Evaluate business activities (e.g. investments) to assess compliance risk

Collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed

Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation

Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices

Address employee concerns or questions on legal compliance

Qualifications & Skills: -

Degree in Legal or related studies.

At least 5 years of experience in a compliance officer role

Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures ideally within the trading or FMCG industry

Good knowledge of the Food Manufacturing industry standards and regulations
