Job Summary:Compliance Management System/HSE Senior Officer is responsible for conducting audits to assess compliance with the airlines Safety Management System (SMS), Quality Assurance (QA) program, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies. This role ensures regulatory adherence and continuous improvement by identifying and mitigating risks.Conduct QA, SMS, PSMP, HSE induction and continuation trainingKey Responsibilities:Safety Management System (SMS):
Perform audits to verify compliance with SMS policies and procedures.
Assess safety risk management and hazard identification effectiveness.
Review safety reports and investigation outcomes for improvement opportunities.
Monitor safety performance indicators and recommend corrective actions.
Provide feedback and recommendations for SMS enhancement.
Follow up on MOC and RA.
Amend SMS manual as required by PH QA/SMS
Follow up on SAGs meetings, report ALOSP and Tri-annual report to GCAA
Assess SMS and all related policies,
Quality Assurance (QA):
Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Identify and report non-conformities, ensuring timely corrective actions.
Evaluate the effectiveness of Quality Management System (QMS) processes.
Maintain audit records and provide reports to management.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across departments.
Assist in analysis of audits NCRs and trends monitoring,
Amend Manuals as required.
Prepare presentation and conduct training as required
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):
Conduct audits and inspections to ensure workplace safety compliance.
Assess implementation of HSE policies and procedures.
Investigate incidents and provide recommendations for preventive measures.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Promote a culture of environmental responsibility and sustainability.
SkillsQualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Aviation, Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in aviation auditing, safety, quality assurance, or HSE.
Lead Auditor Certification (ISO 9001, IOSA, or equivalent) is preferrable
Strong knowledge of GCAA, EASA.
Experience in auditing techniques, risk assessment, and root cause analysis.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in audit reporting tools and quality management software.
