Job Purpose Lead the development and execution of technical and behavioral competence frameworks, oversee performance management processes, and maintain talent management initiatives to align with organizational goals and industry best practices. Reporting To: Head of Competence Development and Talent Management
Key Responsibilities
Competence Framework Development
Implement and regularly update technical and behavioral competence frameworks for all eligible positions, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and best practices.
Provide guidance to line supervisors on setting Competence Levels Required (CLR) and assessing Competence Levels Demonstrated (CLD).
Identify and address gaps in employee competences, recommending training and development plans as necessary.
Performance Management
Oversee the performance management cycle in line with the Employee Performance Management System policy.
Support line managers with KPI progress tracking to ensure corporate targets are met.
Handle employee appeals related to performance ratings and prepare cases for managerial and panel review.
Advise on and monitor the implementation of Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) for employees requiring development.
Talent Management and System Maintenance
Implement and maintain talent management tools, ensuring their functionality and integrity.
Conduct training sessions to familiarize employees with appraisal and Professional Development Plan (PDP) tools.
Lead the development of e-learning courses to support understanding of Learning & Development (L&D) processes.
Continuous Improvement and Strategic Input
Identify opportunities to enhance performance management and talent development processes, recommending and implementing changes.
Ensure alignment of frameworks with industry standards and company strategy through periodic reviews. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Experience and Skills
Experience:
At least 8 years of experience in competence development, performance management, or talent management roles.
Skills:
Strong leadership and facilitation skills to guide meetings and influence senior stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and recommend actionable improvements.
