The position requires conducting site visits to assess facility conditions, preparing space optimization plans, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to deliver impactful recommendations that improve space utilization and support organizational objectives.Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Conduct site visits to assess facility conditions and recommend relocations or adjustments to improve space utilization.xc2xb7 Develop Basic Facility Requirements (BFR) and perform gap analyses for optimal facility use.xc2xb7 Prepare space optimization plans, including cost estimates and phased implementation strategies.xc2xb7 Review iNFADS (facility database) for accuracy and recommend updates.xc2xb7 Analyze facility energy and condition data to identify needs for upgrades, retention, or demolition.xc2xb7 Document findings through detailed reports, asset evaluations, and space utilization assessments.xc2xb7 Collaborate with tenant commands, contractors, and Public Works teams to identify current and future facility needs.xc2xb7 Facilitate workshops, meetings, and progress reviews to develop solutions aligned with organizational objectives.xc2xb7 Update architectural floor plans using tools like CAD, GIS, or other designated software.xc2xb7 Prepare space approval letters and related documentation for command endorsement.xc2xb7 Assist in planning studies, DD Form 1391 development, and real estate leasing actions.xc2xb7 Submit weekly project status updates and monthly summary reports.Ideal Profilexc2xb7 Bachelors degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.xc2xb7 Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility planning, space optimization, or program support services.xc2xb7 Must be a Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE).xc2xb7 Active or interim Secret Clearance is required.xc2xb7 Proficiency in tools like CAD, GIS platforms, and data analysis software.xc2xb7 Strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation abilities.xc2xb7 Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with government and contractor teams.xc2xb7 Willingness to travel occasionally to support projects in the UAE.xc2xb7 Knowledge of NAVFAC systems, processes, and standards is preferred.xc2xb7 Must be willing to deploy to Bahrain.What's on Offer?
