:Local Unit & Position DescriptionMaritime Marketing and Communications supports DNV Maritime, the world's leading classification society, in driving the industry transition towards a digital, efficient and eco-friendly future; through broadening our reputation as a thought leader and accelerating revenue generation.The Regional Communications Hub Europe, Middle East & Africa is an integral part of the global Maritime Communications network, comprising a committed team of international marketing and communications experts in 4 countries responsible for strategy and leadership communication, marketing and campaign management, branding, digital communications, media relations & PR, event management, social media as well as employee communications.We are looking for an ambitious Communications Manager to manage DNV Maritime's communications activities for the Region Middle East and Africa. This position will be based in Dubai and report to the Senior Regional Communications Manager for the Regions South-East Europe and Middle East and Africa.Your responsibilitiesSupport the development and implement the regional communications and marketing activities to enhance brand awareness and contribute to lead generation across DNV Maritime's product and service categories.
Act as the local sparring partner for all comms-related activities to the Regional Management and Business Development team of the Region Middle East and Africa
Contribute to the development, execution, and delivery of content across all channels (such as PR, social media, marketing collateral, online publishing, internal comms)
Foster local media relations and facilitate responses to media requests as needed.
Support in the design and execute trade shows, conferences, and marketing events, including invitation management.
Create impactful campaigns following our xe2x80x9cdigital firstxe2x80x9d communications strategy
Drive internal and leadership communications across different channels to provide a line of sight between high-level strategy and individual actions and goals
Apply data analytics to personalize and optimize content and measure success
Ensure adherence to global brand consistency, messaging, and tone of voice within regional communications.
Oversee the regional MarComms budget, including event sponsoring and media spending
Collaborate with various agencies, freelancers, and student interns.

University degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration or similar
Fluent in English and Arabic language
3-5 years of relevant work experience in a communications, marketing or PR role
Proven understanding of working a multitude of communications and marketing channels
Event-management experience
Strong familiarity in working with digital channels & tools
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Ability to work autonomously and as part of an international, virtual team
Work experience within the Maritime industry would be an advantage
