Communications Manager

### Description


As Communications Manager, you will join our dynamic and growing team in a newly created role with the opportunity to develop and refine our external and internal communications. You will provide strategic, integrated communications and compelling storytelling across multiple channels. Partnering closely with our Head of Marketing and Lockton's specialty divisions, you will manage the internal and external messaging for Lockton MENA daily and advise stakeholders on media management when applicable.

Role responsibilities

• Create and manage the MENA media relations calendar, drafting press releases when required and proactively pitching media to generate positive coverage across identified priority trade and business publications
• Develop and nurture relationships with key trade and business journalists
• Lead on the development of all thought leadership initiatives including content creation and execution of round table discussion
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and teams to understand their external communication needs and translate into effective messages
• Partner with colleagues in HR to create a sustainable, strategic cross-channel comms plan to engage external audiences (prospective job applicants and clients) by effectually articulating what makes Lockton a unique place to work and do business
• Understanding and interpreting quantitative and qualitative feedback to identify possible improvements to communications content and channels
• Develop a mechanism to monitor and evaluate internal & external content, provide actionable insights and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Support Lockton MENA committees (CSR/WIL/Culture) with communications requests, including internal emails, Workplace posts and digital signage content
• Liaise with in-house design team and create editable templates to streamline processes around turnround times of requests such as urgent market updates.
• Manage and produce internal comms assets when design team are not required
• Support Sr Events Specialist with strategic partnerships, including hands-on support at events, media coverage as well as RSVPs and guestlists
• Support Sr Marketing Executive with creating social media content and managing website content ensuring that it is constantly updated.


### Candidate Profile


• Prior experience working in marketing communications, or a related field
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Analytics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting engaging content and interacting professionally with team members and the wider business.
• Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging content, think outside the box, and contribute fresh ideas for various audiences in a compelling and accessible manner.
• Demonstrable experience in providing guidance and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, influencing positive and commercially successful outcomes.
• Proven experience delivering high-profile, effective, and strategic PR campaigns and media relations, including drafting press releases and pitching newsworthy stories to the press.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial B2B environment.
• Experience in providing corporate communications campaigns.
• Prior experience in a regulated environment is desirable, but not essential.
• Prior experience communicating powerful stories across corporate responsibility is desirable, but not essential.
• Familiarity with communications platforms such as Contact Monkey is desirable, but not essential.
