In the role of Communications Manager - Arabic, you will oversee various communications channels, seamlessly orchestrating the generation of content across internal, external and digital channels in Arabic. Your focus will extend beyond mere coordination, encompassing the cultivation and nurturing of relationships with internal stakeholders and media in key markets. Your mission is to effectively convey the Group\'s corporate priorities and initiatives. As the steward of our communications landscape, you will craft and execute innovative, creative, and cost-effective integrated strategies that harmonize with both business objectives and customer needs. Your ownership extends to the vital realms of internal engagement, external press, and public relations for the Group\'s divisions, ensuring a cohesive communication strategy is delivered with impactful messaging aligned to overarching business strategy.Accountabilities- Manage the development, approval and distribution of content for internal and external communications channels, including corporate messages, intranet content, press releases and statements. - Coordinate responses to media requests about the Group and its divisions, preparing written statements on the company\'s behalf and having a regular exchange of information with the media. - Scope, develop, deliver, measure and exploit new tools and initiatives for communications. - Identifying positive internal and external PR story opportunities, arrange and escort media familiarisation trips, producing press packs and coordinating the media for events such as route launches. - Preparing speeches and scripts for the executive leadership team for internal and media-related events and workshops. - Take responsibility for keeping content on internal and external channels up to date, providing regular reporting on channel usage by analysing trends and statistics. - Effectively manage stakeholders, from executive level to departmental content owners, providing internal and external communications advice on tone, style and content as required. - Support corporate emergency procedures during disruption and major incidents as required.Requirements: Education & Experience- Higher Education/Degree or journalistic qualification. Strong IT background/competency preferred. - At least five years of communications experience or Press Office/PR Agency/journalism experience, aviation/aerospace background is advantageous. - Fluent/native in Arabic as well as English writing and proofreading: ability to write quickly, under pressure and to a high standard. - Proven experience of producing content across a range of channels and exposure to digital content. - In-depth understanding and experience of communications channels, with strong emphasis on digital. - Creative with a strong sense for aesthetics and attention to detail. - Proficient in MS Office: the highest standards of presentation and administrative skills are expected. - Flexibility: the nature of the department\'s work can result in the need to work extra unsociable hours with little or no notice.About Etihad AirwaysEtihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, was formed in 2003 and quickly went on to become one of the world\'s leading airlines.
