1. Brief: Company is looking for a Commodity Trader for its Dubai Office. Applicant is expected to have handled one of the Agri-commodities (Preferably Sugar, Edible Oil, Grains, Pulses, Spices or Rice) for a minimum of 4 years and possess an extensive supplier and customer base. Trader should have good working knowledge of the entire value chain and take full ownership of the portfolio assigned. The position involves travelling globally and meeting with prospective counterparts on regular basis. Salary and compensation will be very competitive to current market. 2. Responsibilities: a) Developing a Trading strategy with full risk management b) Analysis of markets including S/D, Trade flows, Competitors and Suppliers c) Collaboration with operations and trade logistics d) Generating new leads for the portfolio assigned e) Active participation in business meets and trade conferences f) Stay up to date with regulatory requirements and market developments and guide the team 3. Education / Experience: a) MBA Degree in relevant field or equivalent experience b) 4-5 years of commodity trading experience in UAE c) Good English communication skills. Multiple language skills will be a added advantage. d) Computer skills with full domain of Microsoft Office e) Good understanding of Futures, Options and derivative markets f) Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic trading environment with tight deadlines. g) GCC Experience is a must.
