Job Description
Vacancy Announcement: Professional Soft Commodities Trader
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute trades in soft commodities such as coffee, cocoa, sugar, cotton, soybeans, wheat, flour and etc.
- Develop and implement trading strategies based on market analysis and trends.
- Monitor market developments, economic indicators, and geopolitical factors affecting commodity prices.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, and industry stakeholders.
- Analyze market data and do a throughout research to identify opportunities, provide reports and manage risks effectively (hedging and etc.)
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Business, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in soft commodity trading (physical and paper).
- Proven track record of successful trading strategies and risk management.
- Strong understanding of global soft commodity markets and trends.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions quickly.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in trading software and data analysis tools.
