Job Description

COMMI II Our client, a family of unique food concepts that are built on sustainability and delicate culinary excellence who operate premium international brands including FERDI, Philippe Chow, Beef Bar, Novikov, and more, apart from amazing local brands well known for their authenticity and original Kuwaiti taste, is looking for a talented Premium Dining Commi II to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of high-end dishes, while ensuring adherence to all food safety and sanitation standards. The Premium Dining Commi II will work under the direction of the Executive Chef and will assist in maintaining the kitchen area clean, organized, and well-stocked.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in preparing and cooking high-end dishes to ensure the highest level of quality and taste. Follow recipes and procedures to maintain consistency and quality of food. Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner. Assist in maintaining the kitchen area clean and organised, including cleaning kitchen equipment and utensils. Assist in monitoring food inventory and notifying the Executive Chef of any shortages or discrepancies. Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are always met. Attend all team meetings and training sessions as required. Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Good English communication skills.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role in a high-end restaurant. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A willingness to learn and take direction from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights.
